Start Improving Yourself Today! – S01B04

Welcome to the 4th and the last blog for this series in earlier two posts’s I shared about 2 things: Health & Food now as you guys aware about the things. it’s time to introduce the most important element in my life. which is changing my life day by day making me calmer, productive & many more things which can’t be explained in words if I say. So As we discussed in the last post about my diet and the basic cardio routine. here I am to share some in-depth information to Start Improving Yourself Today. Let’s get started.

So as I started doing cardio and taking good food I started losing weight after two weeks. I loose more than 2K.Gs and how I get to know is I went to that pharmacy again. To check my weight to see what am I doing is it going in the right way or not so it was a positive response which I get over there.

Now I understand that eating good food and doing daily exercise is a good habit to continue and this is what I’m doing now. As your body is fit, it’s time to fit your mind. Yes! Same way you are eating good food and because of that, you are getting fit just like that your mind also want to exercise to work more productive. I’m learning about spirituality i don’t know much about it. But what I can suggest is to meditate every day.

What is meditation?

Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness or focusing the mind on a particular object. thought or activity to train attention and awareness and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state. Wikipedia

It’s been around more than 2 weeks and I see so many changes in my life. It’s a slow process but I can guarantee you that once you start doing it. you won’t regret the title itself inspired from meditation “Start Improving Yourself Today!” So, as far as I know, there are many ways of meditation which I learned from my mentor Ranveer Allahbadia’s channel BeerBiceps. I’m going to add the playlist below in which he has explained everything about meditation, you can take it as a beginner’s guide.

Meditation Guide for Beginners

I hope you will watch this playlist and get inspired to do meditation every day. Now you guys will ask how it’s working out for me, so for this, I would like to tell you that my father used to meditate daily in the morning for around 1hr. At that time I wasn’t aware of this even I wasn’t able to sit more then 5-6min and I stopped in just 1 week.

Then again something happens in my life one of my friends brings me to a meditation center. Where everyone used to meditate together on Thursday or maybe Friday once a week. I also tried that but the same I wasn’t able to sit for long and wasn’t able to control my mind.

So how it is going for me?

It’s going good because I’ve done some of the small changes in my routine.

  1. Try to sleep at 11 P.M so I can be waking up at 6 I complete my sleep of 7 hours.
  2. Waking up early morning.
  3. Stop using a mobile phone 1hr before going to bed and after waking up.
  4. Watching videos on youtube which gives wisdom, mostly watch videos of Sadhguru
  5. Writing one page daily in the morning after meditation.

These are some changes I’ve done in my routine somewhere I believe these are the things that are working out for me. so it’s good I’m calmer, better, productive.
